What Pinterest doesn’t show you...

It’s easy to fall in love with the finished photos (we do too). But before the styling, before the furniture, and long before the reveal, there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes.

Site visits. Construction meetings. Material approvals. Problem-solving. A few unexpected surprises. And about a thousand decisions that all add up to a home that feels effortless in the end.

The finished spaces are beautiful, but the process is where the magic really happens.

A love letter to coffered ceilings... 💌

Detailed millwork is one of our favorite elements to design with. It introduces depth, shadow, and a tactile sense of texture that shifts an entire room from a standard space into a ✨whole vibe✨.

So often, clients don’t realize what their space can become until we look up! By thoughtfully structuring every layer of a room, long before the first piece of furniture is placed, we can evoke an entirely new sense of design.

A little different from our usual change of pace and we loved every bit of it. 🌿

We were honored to be selected as one of the designers for the 76th Annual Rehoboth Art League Cottage Tour, styling a space inside the historic Old Homestead building.

Mixing a little coastal and a little more heritage than beach house but still our same love of a good vignette (ps there’s always room for hydrangeas).

If it feels effortless, it was probably obsessed over. Last week we made a pit stop at our Bristol Rd. Project in South Bethany and have more beautiful shots to share. We’re at the stage of Bristol Rd where the details start to speak for themselves. Every finish was chosen to create a sense of ‘refined coastal ease’ from the ground up.
