✨LONG POST✨
April was one of the hardest months for our family as we said goodbye to my sweet granny 🤍 The last few weeks have been filled with so many ups, downs, and emotions, but healing and slowing down has truly been good for my heart.
One thing this season has taught me is how important it is to be more present with family, friends, and the people we love most. So we packed our bags and went on a little Royal Caribbean cruise getaway with family to unwind from the busy everyday lifestyle and mentally refresh after such an emotional few months. Watching Lakelyn laugh, play, and enjoy every little moment with all of us brought so much peace to my grieving process.
Before the cruise, I lived on TikTok looking up all the mom cruise hacks 😂 and they helped SO much! One of my favorite finds was an over-the-door organizer from Amazon that made outfit changes, diapers, and getting ready every morning so much easier. I also brought a self-filling portable bathtub for Lakelyn so she could have little “spa baths” on the balcony every night 🛁✨ It was lightweight, easy to fill, folded down perfectly for travel, and became a favorite for the whole family. Seeing her enjoy those balcony baths was the BEST thing ever.
I’ll be posting all the links + photos of the things that made traveling with a 1-year-old so much smoother 🤍
