I don’t get a lot of time out in the shop during the summer. But autumn rains have moved in and I’m spending some afternoons out in the cold shop. Been puttering away making a new table to work on out of some scrap I have been collecting. Not to bad so far. Need to make some boxes and drawer fronts, shelves and doors for the other side still but this top is turning out really nice. 3/4” walnut veneer. Just out sanding sealer on it and I’ll let it dry for a couple days before sanding it smooth and spraying on a poly acrylic top coat after I trim it to final size.

Well, my wife was cleaning up my old workspace in the office, and surprise! More diamond painting pens. Soooooo for anyone that is still following along from my time making these.

I’m going to go through and take individual pictures and put them up for grabs. $30 ea plus shipping via PayPal. A couple hybrids but most are solid diamond infused resin of various color combos.

Cherry veneer bathroom cubby coming along. First coat of 1lb cut shellac on. Only problem is I don’t have room to do it all at once 🤨. Do what cha gotta do! Not bad for scrap wood. 🙂

First time spraying a top coat finish. So far I’m very pleased with how these two chess boards are looking. After stripping them down completely sanding back to 400 and cleaning before spraying. Excited to see them done for good this time. No refinishing needed in the future with a 2k finish.
