Our leis fundraiser was amazing because of the support we received from our community.
We didn't have to many orders but the day of graduation we had double the amount that had been originally ordered so instead of 10 carnations per lei there were 5! But as usual no one complained everyone was just happy to help by giving back to our community.
We had a little dilemma with this fundraiser because we were going to donate the money to our local school pantries that help our local children with food on the weekends that struggle with food insecurities, but with the high prices of food and everything else we didn't think it would be enough if we spilt the original amount 3 ways.
The month of May we are alot busier than usual, so we decide to match the original amount donated from the lei fundraiser and give the same amount to the other 2 schools in our community with the profits we made from Mother's day, Graduation, and Memorial day.
I just want to say how much we appreciate our community members, our local small businesses, the referrals, and everyone that supports our small flower shop and construction company D&K renovations and remodeling. We could not do it without your support, we appreciate you more than you will ever know ❤️

In the time we have owned the flower shop I have been blessed to get to watch the cutest kids grow up. When their in elementary and middle school they will come in for boba's, candy, and ice cream, then they go into high school and I get to see them come in for corsages before they head over to their school dances.
We get to hear their dreams and aspirations for their future. We are so proud when we hear from their siblings how well they are doing chasing their dreams. We never get tried of their visits with us.
To all the parents, thank you for sharing your amazing children with us and kids there are no limits to what you can achieve, so reach for the stars!!
