Neely Design Group: Chris Neely CUSTOM DESIGN FOR CUSTOM LIVING
Chris Neely and Greg Mohr created Window Wear LLC in 2007.

In 2017, the time was right to roll out Neely Design Group to showcase the great design they've been doing all along.

Hope you're all having a great Tuesday!! More gorgeous sunshine!

You know, not every design project is a “gut job”. Sometimes all that's needed is a refresh, a different set of eyes to look at your space and come up with a plan. That's exactly what we did for a wonderful client who recently called and asked for just that. We had some pieces reupholstered, installed some new pillows and drapery with new hardware, and our client's husband was kind enough to do some painting. We think it all came together beautifully in shades of green. The spaces will definitely be more cheerful in the coming gray winter months. Here are a few before and after photos and some of the finished rooms.

Happy Tuesday! Another beautiful fall day here in the Midwest. Hope you’re all enjoying the sun today.

I wanted to share some before and after photos of another great project we recently designed for some longtime clients. They wanted a lighter, brighter kitchen that would flow with the rest of the house, so it looked like it had always been there. They also wanted a few spots to display some of the pieces they’ve collected during their travels. We bumped out the window above the sink for some extra room and sunlight. Lastly, we switched the appliances around and changed the shape of the island for a better work triangle, all while keeping the original tile floor at their request. We had just enough tiles from under the existing island to make it work.

The design process with these clients was so much fun! With their input, we designed every single drawer and cabinet shelf to store exactly what they wanted, where they wanted it. In the end, they got the kitchen of their dreams, and we had the satisfaction of making their dream a reality:)

Shout out to Denver Weihrauch with CT Construction and Michelle Liebrecht with Legacy Marble & Granite for all their great work!

Here's the primary bathroom remodel that we designed for the same client in my previous post. She wanted the look of marble, but not the maintenance, along with the timeless elegance of real brass fixtures. The old shower was enclosed and dark; the new glass shower really opened up the room.
So much brighter!

Hope everyone is enjoying these beautiful fall days! I just wanted to share some before and after pictures of a sunroom we recently completed. This was a fun project with fun clients. We incorporated some green to highlight their beautiful live fiddle leaf figs. Their view is amazing, and now they have a bright, comfortable room to enjoy it from. They were thrilled with the transformation! There may have been one or two margaritas involved during the planning process.🍹 Did I mention they were fun?

Winding down the Holidays, I hope you all had a wonderful season and are looking forward to the new year! One of my resolutions is to post more often on this page. We’ll see how that goes…lol!

We hosted two family gatherings this year. These pictures represent the calm before the storm:)
