A REDEFINED life is a simpler life. Ask yourself these questions: What areas of my life seem most disorganized? Where do I feel overwhelmed? Am I living freely or is disorganization keeping me from living according to my values/goals? Because everyone will answer differently and at differing degrees, the method of tackling the challenge will be unique to each person. A few benefits of such a life
include – reduction in stress, having more time with family, having more time to bless others, reduction in conflict, increased productivity, and a greater chance to fulfill goals. For many people the thought of a simpler life is heavenly, but the journey to such a life brings anxiety and seems impossible. We completely understand that, and would love to work with you to help you gain control of your life. My business assists people downsizing, moving, regaining / reorganizing their current space and with family estates after loss. My main focus of work is helping people with unwanted possessions. My services are unique as they are customized to best meet the needs of the clients. Services offered:
Office or Home Organization
While most don’t think of offices as needing help, piles of paperwork and an unorganized filing or online system lowers productivity while increasing stress. Home organization could include one room or a whole house. For do it yourself people who just need help starting, we offer a flat fee to come in and develop a plan for you to get you started. We will help to get your family members involved in the process as most teens/children love knowing they have “money” just sitting around in their room. That money can pay for our services and/or go to that vacation you want to take! Home inventory with pictures for insurance or record keeping purposes. Itemization is provided for donated items for tax purposes. We work with local charities and help you feel good about your donations! Estate Sales
This includes a 1-2 day sale in the home. We take care of everything including advertising. Sale of one to multiple items from your home
We use multiple methods which we discuss with you. Depending on the item, we can keep the item in the home or remove them for selling purposes. Purchase your unwanted items
If you just want items to just go away!, we will offer you a price for your items and take them out of your home. Life Coaching
Assessing your values and goals and helping you make plans to move forward - college students to adults! This is not counseling, but life management help. Get Started Help for the do-it-yourselfers
Sometimes we just need someone to come and get us started. For that reason, we offer 2.5 hour consultations where we give organization and selling ideas to you; in essence, we give you a plan of attack with needed resources. If you find at the end of our time, you just want us to do it all, we apply half of the consultation fee toward our future services! Referrals
If we can’t help you or we think someone can do a better job for you in a specific area, we will try and direct you where you can get help. We do not pretend to know the value of everything or know how to do everything so we find it rewarding to refer you to others where needed even if it means losing you as a customer. Our desire is for you to get the best service whether with us or with someone else. About the owner, Lana:
For the last 25 years, I have been a Professor of Interpersonal Communication. I have spent many years researching and teaching about how life management impacts relationships and have developed “helps” for time management, value assessment, and overall organization skills. I have used my knowledge to help others. My love of “all things organized” goes back to my childhood years and grew exponentially once I discovered “the labeler” and the “the laminator” in my college years! After graduate school, I married my hubby, a Marine at the time, and I taught as an adjunct faculty member while temping at different companies. I ended up completely reorganizing the workspaces of everyone I worked for from Ceo’s to Managers to colleagues. I found that organizing was my adrenaline rush activity, and that I loved it! A few years later and a full-time teaching position in hand, I got into buying and selling with a special interest in vintage items. I have had estate sales for people and continue to grow in that area, and I have had booths at shops and vintage sales. I sell on Ebay, Facebook, Craigslist, Mercari, Poshmark, and I have tried various local auction houses and companies for learning and referral purposes. My heart is to really help people redeem time and make the most of their lives. We all need to take yearly assessments and make sure our daily activities align with our values so that we may be satisfied. I sincerely hope that whether you have me help you or someone else or do it yourself, you move forward in this area with no shame from the past.
