Illinois RE Journal has named the Legat-designed Heartland Community College Net Zero Agriculture Complex a finalist in two categories of the 2026 Real Estate Awards: Education/Day Care and Green/LEED Development of the Year. The project demonstrates how high-performance design can reduce energy use, lower operating costs, and support workforce development. Winners will be announced June 4.
