Hi, I’m Abigail — founder and designer behind Desbbey Interiors.

I’ve always believed that home should reflect the way we truly live, supporting our needs, routines, and the things that matter most to us. Within that lies beauty.

I’m drawn to interiors that feel warm, thoughtful, and personal — spaces shaped by natural materials, layered textures, and a sense of quiet living. The goal is never to create a home that simply looks designed, but one that feels lived in, lasting, and entirely your own.

Thanks for being here.

Seeing this project fully come to life feels incredibly special.

Designed to feel warm, timeless, and deeply connected to the landscape beyond the windows — allowing natural texture, soft tones, and greenery to shape the atmosphere of the space.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a kitchen that feels calm, lived in, and enduring from the very beginning.

After the overall vision is established, the project begins to take shape through material decisions.

For this kitchen, the focus was less about contrast and more about quiet variation—layering warmth, texture, and subtle shifts in tone to create depth throughout the space.

Natural stone, handmade tile, soft cabinetry finishes, and aged materials work together to create a kitchen that feels collected and connected to the character of the home rather than overly new or overdone.

The smallest material decisions often shape the overall feeling of a space the most.

A look at the beginning.

Inspiration sets the tone — warm, grounded, and restrained.
The space plan brings structure — defining how the room will function and flow.

This is where vision meets reality, and the foundation for every decision that follows is established.

Full-Service Kitchen Renovation ~

We’re in the final stretch on this one.

Construction is done and furniture is installed.

Just waiting on drapery and finishing details.

Can’t wait to share more.

There’s a quiet kind of beauty in materials that don’t try too hard.

Stone that wears in, not out.
Wood that deepens over time.

These are the elements that make a home feel grounded—connected to something beyond the moment. Not trend-driven, but time-tested.

In a world that moves quickly, natural materials invite us to slow down. To notice the variation, the texture, the warmth. To let a space unfold instead of forcing it to be finished all at once.

That’s where timelessness lives.

The best homes aren’t designed in a day.
They’re gathered—piece by piece, story by story.

This is what creates depth, warmth, and that feeling you can’t quite put into words.

In my latest post, I’m sharing why the most beautiful spaces aren’t rushed—they’re revealed.

As I look forward to the abundance this new year holds, I’m choosing presence. Although there’s much to anticipate, I know staying grounded is key to truly appreciating it. I hope, as I have in recent years, to cherish the small moments—lounging on the couch with my husband, leaning back with a glass of wine, or enjoying morning coffee beside our coffee table.

Our homes support our everyday living, but more importantly, they create space for us to be present.

Here’s to the small moments in 2026.

As this year comes to a close, I’m grateful for a season that felt a lot like this space—peaceful, intentional, and quietly artistic. 2025 was a year of growing Desbbey Interiors, refining my creative perspective, and building a studio rooted in thoughtful, lived-in design. Thankful for the support and encouragement along the way, and excited for what’s ahead.

Here’s to designing the new year with intention.
