Today, Monday September 7th is the final day of our Polymorph Dyeworks trunk show. We absolutely love this Virginia maker’s yarn and we hope you do as well.

With the Polymorph Dyeworks trunk show ending tomorrow - Monday September 7th - we wanted to share this gorgeous yarn. This is Polymorph Dyeworks Neon Tweed fi*****ng in the colorway Black Hole paired with Emma’s Yarn in the colorway You Glow Girl - and we love it together. Add a black light in the mix and both yarns glow!

What a great way to spice up a vanillla sock (as we have done here) or a tweedy project. For the trunk show we have this colorway on both fi*****ng and DK - but there is only one skein of fi*****ng remaining at this moment. We will be open today from 1pm to 4pm and tomorrow from 11am to 4pm.

Stop by before this yarn is packed up.

Anyone else see a skein of yarn and then go home and keep thinking about it? That is how I feel about the yarn in the front of this photo. It is one that needs to be made into something.

I found two patterns that I think would work with DK weight yarn. The first is the Shoreline Vest by Tori Yu - this vest is such a great layer to wear any time of year. And the fun edging detail can hold a tie (or not). The second is the Riptide Scarfette by Jennifer Sheila Toland (JSTdesigns). The yarn would be a fun, seasonal pop of color to any outfit. I just cannot choose!

The Polymorph Dyeworks yarn will only be available in store a few more days. You do not want to miss seeing this beautiful yarn in person.

You can purchase these through our online site or in store and the kit will ship to you directly from Emma’s Yarn. Remember that the pattern is sold separately. Have fun picking - I cannot pick just one.

With the Polymorph Dyeworks trunk show going on I keep dreaming of projects I want to make with the gorgeous yarn available. This particular colorway is calling to me this morning.

I would play around with a swatch of this colorway with a few contrast colorways go make the Pipped to the Post shawl by Helen Kennedy. Or I would love to use this colorway to make the Clove Cardigan by Sarah Opie - with a pop of color for the ribbing. Or for a fun DK weight project the Perfectionist Trap by Kacey Herlihy. I could go on all day looking for ways to use this yarn.

What would you make?

Join us in store for the Polymorph Dyeworks trunk show going on now through Monday September 7th.

The trunk show includes both fi*****ng/sock and DK weight yarn. And the colorways are just stunning. We have sold out of a few colorways at this point - but there is plenty of gorgeous yarn remaining.

This gorgeous Fluff from Polymorph Dyeworks is so soft to the touch. We cannot wait to work it up into a project. Dyed in five different tonals - we cannot pick our favorite. The Just Peachy colorway (top right) actually sold out already.

This yarn is a blown yarn - with a cotton fiber tube that has baby suri alpaca blown inside. Each 100g skein is approximately 328 yards.

Make sure you take a look the next time you stop by. This yarn is visiting until Monday September 7th.

A few months ago we grabbed a skein of this neon tweed yarn from Polymorph Dyeworks. We found the perfect project for this yarn - a pair of vanilla socks to show off the gorgeous tweedy bits. And since the tweed glows in the dark with a black light - we grabbed an Emma’s Yarn Practically Perfect small in the colorway You Glow Girl - and we made a fun, glow in the dark sock!

We have just a few skeins of this fun yarn available in the Polymorph Dyeworks trunk show. And the sock is also visiting us for a short while to show off this fun yarn.
