They’re finally here! Our Hidden Hollow project final photos! Working with this creative client was truly a fun experience. The pink crystalo counters in the kitchen may be our favorite detail. The walnut floor and cabinetry are a close second. Every detail was carefully crafted and executed between us, the contractor, the clients, and all of the hard working sub contractors. It really was a group effort! Just wait until you see the before and after pics!

Welcome our newest team member! Mikaela officially joined Het Hout this spring as a junior designer after interning for us this past year. We’re so excited to have her on board!
Mikaela recently graduated from Northern Arizona University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. She loves finding inspiration through different experiences, whether that’s travel, fashion, interiors, or art. Outside of design, she enjoys spending time with her dog, visiting her family in Gilbert, thrifting, baking, and finding new crafts to pick up.

TRUTH IN MATERIALS. We talk about this a lot with our clients. We always steer away from materials that are copy cats or faux (LVP, “wood-look”, quartz, printed tiles, polyester, etc). Having truth in your materials will give you a natural feeling home, a warmth, and most importantly, a timeless design, that will age gracefully over the years!
