A lake house tucked into the trees, where the seasons seem to settle into the walls. Weathered wood, worn-in textures, amber light, and the kind of rooms that make you want to stay until the fire burns low.

There’s something about fall here—quiet, moody, a little mysterious. Nothing too precious. Everything with a story.

A little color, a lot of character.

In this historic Richmond home, the mudroom and bath were reimagined to honor the architecture while bringing a fresh, modern sensibility to these hardworking spaces.

Color drenched walls, thoughtful details, and layered materials give these rooms a sense of richness and ease, proving that even the most utilitarian spaces deserve a little everyday luxury.

Well, summer… consider this our love letter and farewell. You filled our days with golden light, open doors, long evenings, and the kind of beauty that makes us want to linger just a little longer. Until next year. 🤍
