Ever seen this rare stitch? 🤔✨

The Raised Chain Band is an unusual yet fascinating embroidery stitch that adds incredible texture and depth to your designs! Unlike standard chain stitches, this technique creates a structured, raised effect, making it perfect for decorative borders or adding dimension to embroidery pieces. If you love experimenting with unique stitches, this one is a must-try! 🪡💖

Here’s how to do it step by step ⬇️

1️⃣ First, create a base of straight horizontal stitches. The stitches should be evenly spaced. Move along points A-B-C-D-E-F, etc. This prevents long, loose stitches on the back.

2️⃣ Bring the needle up centrally above the top stitch.

3️⃣ Pass the needle over the top of the first horizontal stitch, then under it, exiting on the left side. This forms a small loop around the stitch.

4️⃣ Slip the needle under the same straight stitch to the right side, working downwards.

5️⃣ Now you have a finished chain link! 🎉

6️⃣ For the next link, pass the needle over the second horizontal stitch, then under it, exiting left (like in step 3). Then pass the needle under the same straight stitch to the right, moving downward (like in step 4).

7️⃣ Keep repeating this process for the remaining straight stitches until you complete the line. The final chain link will be secured with a small straight stitch.

8️⃣ And this is the finished raised chain band! ✨

🎁 Store-bought gifts are forgotten, but handmade ones are treasured for years. When I first embroidered a name on fabric, it was just an experiment—but the person I gifted it to said it was the best present they’d ever received. That’s when I realized: gifts made with love have a special meaning. 💖

Now, I don’t just embroider—I create patterns so anyone can make a unique, heartfelt gift with their own hands. ✨ Perfect for those who want to give something personal without spending hours designing!

💡 Why are handmade gifts better?
✨ One of a kind – No one else will have the same gift.
✨ Full of emotion – A handmade present shows real thought and care.
✨ Easy to make – With a ready-to-use pattern, even beginners can create something beautiful!

I design embroidery patterns to make handmade gifting easier. Because true gifts aren’t about price—they’re about meaning. 💝

Brick Stitch – Add Texture to Your Embroidery! 🧵✨

Brick stitch is great for creating textured surfaces, intricate patterns, or filling large areas with color. Its staggered rows resemble a brick wall, giving embroidery a structured look. 🏗️🎨

Here’s how to stitch it:

1️⃣ Mark the shape into equal sections using a water-erasable marker. These lines will help you determine how long each column of stitches should be. Begin the first column by stitching along the shape's edge. Alternate between short and long stitches, making sure the short ones reach Line A and the long ones reach Line B.
2️⃣ Complete stitching the first column of stitches in this manner. Short stitches are half the length of long stitches.
3️⃣ Let's move on to the second column of stitches. The starting points of stitches in the second column should match the ending points of stitches in the first column. So, if a stitch starts from Line A, it will end at Line C, and if it starts from Line B, it will end at Line D.
4️⃣ In the second column, all stitches are of equal length. Only the first and last columns use alternating long and short stitches. The rest follow the first column’s placement, creating a brick wall effect.
5️⃣ Keep stitching columns in the same manner until you reach the final one. Just like the first column, the last one alternates long and short stitches.
6️⃣ And there we have it – our shape filled with brick stitch! 🎉

Want to add texture to your embroidery? ✨

Seed Stitch, also known as Rice Stitch, is a simple yet effective way to fill large areas with a natural, scattered look. 🌱 Each tiny stitch resembles a seed, adding depth and interest to your design. It’s perfect for flower petals, leaves, fur, feathers, backgrounds, and even abstract textures!

📌 Step-by-step guide:
1️⃣ Start by bringing the needle up from the back of the fabric to Point A.
2️⃣ Move the needle down a short distance away at Point B, creating a straight stitch typically 2-5 mm long.
3️⃣ Repeat this process nearby, creating another straight stitch from Point C to Point D but at a different angle.
4️⃣ Make a third stitch of the same length, placed alongside the previous stitches but angled differently from them.
5️⃣ Continue making these small stitches in the area you want to fill, aiming for consistent length and spacing.

That’s how you create a beautifully textured effect with seed stitch! 🌿 Swipe to see the full guide ➡️✨ Have you used this stitch before? Let me know in the comments! 💬👇

Want to add more dimension to your embroidery? ✨

Padded Satin Stitch creates a beautiful raised effect, making stitches stand out with extra texture and depth. 🌿 Perfect for petals, leaves, or any details that need a soft, voluminous look!

Swipe to see the full guide! ➡️

📌 Step-by-step guide:
1️⃣ Padding can be made with straight stitches, chain stitches, or split stitches. You can also use felt or other materials for a raised effect. I use straight stitches.
2️⃣ Fill the shape with closely spaced straight stitches to create a raised base.
3️⃣ Start at one edge – Bring the needle up at the starting point on one side of the shape.
4️⃣ Make the first stitch – Pull the thread over the padding and insert the needle on the opposite edge.
5️⃣ Always bring the needle up on the same side. Place each stitch close to the previous one without overlapping.
6️⃣ Work step by step – Keep adding stitches, covering the padding smoothly, until you reach the opposite edge.
7️⃣ Check the coverage – Make sure the padding is fully hidden and adjust the stitches if needed for a neat finish.
8️⃣ Compare the results – Look at the difference between regular satin stitch and padded satin stitch. The padding makes the stitches more raised and gives them a more defined shape.
