This sweet client had me help her organize her built-in cabinets and her mudroom. She uses the cabinets for her kids' craft supplies and overflow toys. The spaces needed some simple tidying and then organizing everything by the type of product. Now everything is clearly labeled and is organized neatly in its own little area. The toy cabinet is now clearly labeled as well, and there is so much more room for additional storage.
The mudroom seemed to be the place where everything got dropped upon entering the home. There weren't any designated areas or zones and papers just seemed to pile up. Now this area is much more streamlined and everything has been organized into individual cubbies. I especially love the drop basket for shoes and how we utilized the drawers under the bench as file systems for her three kids' important papers. Each child has their own filing box to store important papers, certificates of achievement, school pictures, and various documents. Once these boxes are filled, they can easily be transferred to the basement and quickly replaced with another file box. I love it!🗃📂🖊📚🖍📝

This before and after is giving me life!!! I had the best time getting this sweet girl's bedroom and bathroom in tip top shape. Her awesome dad had me come in and organize her space while she has been gone for the weekend. I cannot wait for her to get home this evening and to hear about her reaction. Another great before and after moment. My client didn't have a clearly defined guestroom closet, so I helped her create a space that her guests will love! She also has a closet that she uses to store all of her gift wrap and supplies. The only issue was that she couldn't clearly see what all she had and there was no rhyme or reason. Now she can clearly see everything that she has and when she needs to restock. The slits in the closet shelving make a great spot to hang tissue paper, and hangers with clips are incredibly useful for being able to keep all your gift bags categorized. It doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to make a big impact in your space. Some simple storage bins and labels can create a neat, organized space.😍

Daily habits don't have to be anything crazy, and they don't have to take up a lot of your time. If you CONSISTENTLY do your daily activities, you will find that BIG changes can and will happen.

For me, it's always making sure my countertops are cleared and cleaned, as well as my kitchen sink. I also make sure to put all clutter away that may accumulate throughout the day. This could be the kids' bookbags and shoes, mail on the counter, or clothes on the bathroom floor. All of these things have a place and a home. I try to never go to bed without everything being put away. I also do a quick run of the vacuum every night before bed. This may seem like a lot, but I have these daily habits down. I can knock these tasks out in 30 minutes, and my mornings start out with a tidy, chaos-free space. It's easy to keep adding to the clutter if it never gets picked up or put away. Choose daily habits that work for you, your schedule, and your home, and see how much progress you really can achieve!💪

I love a good before and after, and this pantry did not disappoint! I had the best time creating a functional space for my client today. She hated how everything was just shoved into shelves and how nothing had a place. She also didn't like how she had multiples of so many products. This was due to not being able to truly see and take inventory of everything that she did have. My goal was to make a brighter and lighter feeling space for her. I created zones within the pantry and finally gave everything a place to call home. Labeling everything also ensures the rest of the family knows where everything goes. A simple tap light adds some warmth and shows off their organized bar space. The icing on the cake was knowing my client did a happy dance and felt immediate weight lifted off her shoulders.

Getting organized and clearing out the clutter can seem completely overwhelming. Many ask themselves, "Where do I even start?" This list is a great way to keep yourself in check and to keep things simple. Just focus on one task a day. Those small, daily tasks will add up to some serious progress. Not to mention, the weight lifted off your shoulders will keep you motivated and wanting to do more. Give it a try!
