I was asked this week what’s the difference between the two stores. Yes they may look similar because of how I merchandise but they are different.

1. They are 2 different business entities under one corporation. 🤓

2. The prices. 😜 Not to compare but One Woman’s Trash is designed to be thrifty: it’s stuff someone wants to get rid of. Modern Vintage is a traditional home decor/gift/vintage shop at market prices.

3. Modern Vintage is items I buy through traditional channels in the independent home decor/gift world. I do not personally own them. One Woman’s Trash is consignment, where I am selling other people’s items for them.

Why not combine them? I don’t wanna. 🥳 “My” store is my baby, and my baby is literally 24 years old today (!!!!). One Woman’s Trash is basically an experiment to try a different type of retail.

Also I do not want to sell clothes, shoes or designer purses in Modern Vintage but please bring them to One Woman’s Trash! 😎
