I came out of semi-retirement (tiny house space issues) to assist the 3rd graders at St. John’s with their project for the upcoming R.I.S.E. Gala going on this Saturday at Coyote Moon! The kids did such a great job illustrating some Minnesota highlights. This 20x24” wall hanging would look so cute in a cabin. It comes with a keyhole slot so it can hang flush to the wall, or you can lean it on a stand. This will be available as an auction item. You don’t need to be present at the gala to bid. Let’s celebrate these little artists while supporting their wonderful school!

I’ve made a lot of wall hangings over the last few years, but this custom request was one of the most difficult ones to work on. Sometimes the most awful, senseless things happen. I pray this gives the family a little bit of comfort when they look at it, and helps them remember the joyful times.

As the mom of a second grader, I was tasked with getting creative and making a secret “name project” as a First Communion gift, and I do believe it was the best assignment a teacher has ever given me!

I included important religious dates [Baptism, 1st Reconciliation, 1st Communion]. Can’t wait for her to open it on her special day!

Back in October, my parents went on a pilgrimage with members of their church in St. Cloud, Minnesota to St. Cloud, France to celebrate the 1500th birthday of their city’s namesake - Saint Clodoald. My mom wanted to bring a gift to their hosts, so she searched a few local Catholic bookstores to see if she could find anything Saint Cloud related. She wasn’t having any luck and then remembered 💡 “Oh yeah! My daughter makes custom wall hangings!” 😅 We worked together to come up with a design. She wanted to show both cathedrals in Minnesota and France, along with the shrine and a little blurb commemorating the trip. The semi-gloss finish over pearl makes the architecture shimmer and shine behind the translucent image.
