There’s something about the glow of a lamp that instantly makes a room feel more inviting. ✨
Lamps aren’t just about adding light—they create ambience, warmth, and atmosphere. I love using a mix of table lamps, floor lamps, and accent lighting to create layers of light throughout a space.
Turn off the overhead lights, turn on a few lamps, and suddenly the room feels softer, cozier, and a little more special.
Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make a house feel like home. 🤍

We are selecting stone for an upcoming shower renovation! Adding stone slabs to your shower not only adds an element of beauty to the Design, it is also very functional! Stone slab pieces can be added to bench seats, niches, shower curbs, and windowsills! Adding earth's treasures to your home is always a good choice. 💎

Some of my favorite spaces to design are the ones that often get overlooked... like the pantry. 😀

A pantry should absolutely be functional, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. A bold pop of color, beautiful wallpaper, an unexpected light fixture, unique hardware, or thoughtfully styled shelving can turn an everyday space into something that makes you smile every time you open the door.

One of the things I love most about interior design is creating little moments of joy throughout a home—one room at a time. Because even the spaces that aren't always seen deserve beautiful design.

The powder bath or guest bath might be one of the smallest rooms in your home, but don't underestimate it! It's actually one of my favorite spaces to design because it gives you the chance to do something a little unexpected.

Whether it's a bold wallpaper, a statement light fixture, beautiful stone, or a unique vanity, this is the perfect place to have a little fun and create a space your guests will remember.

I always tell my clients that every room deserves thoughtful design—and the powder bath is proof that you don't need a lot of square footage to make a big impact.

When it comes to designing your sanctuary there are no limits. Surround yourself with the things you love! Here are a few of the essentials that I like to incorporate in a bedroom. Other items could include a dresser or console for added storage, a seating area, or bookcase. Window treatments are also a must! One of my favorite parts of being a designer is hitting the road in search of inspiration. 🚗✨

This week’s road trip included exploring antique shops, showrooms, and hidden gems, all with current and upcoming projects in mind. There’s something special about discovering collected pieces with character and history—items that bring depth, personality, and a sense of story to a home.

While sourcing is certainly part of the job, these trips are also an opportunity to gather fresh ideas, spot emerging trends, and find those unexpected treasures that can make a space feel truly unique. From vintage accents to one-of-a-kind furnishings, every stop sparks new inspiration for future designs.

Not every day as a designer is spent installing furniture or styling beautiful spaces. Some days are all about the behind-the-scenes work that brings a project together.

Today included picking up custom window treatments, sourcing wallpaper and fabric, and tracking down the perfect details for current projects. While these tasks may not always make the highlight reel, they're an important part of creating thoughtfully designed spaces that feel cohesive, functional, and personal.

Every fabric sample, wallpaper selection, and custom finish is chosen with intention. It's these layers of planning and coordination that help transform a design concept into a home that truly reflects the people who live there.

The beauty is in the details—and that's where a lot of the work happens.✨
