Supplies needed: clear gesso and foam brush, small blending brush such as picket fence or spectrum noir, water based ink for blending such as distress ink Gina k Nuvo etc. Eclipse tape or post it tape, small light pad or graphite paper, black waterproof pen or gel pens, paper towels, wipes, watercolor and brushes.

Our next Bible Journaling workshop is on Saturday March 14 at 930am! This month we will focus on “spring cleaning” - decluttering our hearts and making room for better focus on what is important to each of us. I am working on the pages now and will have a sneak peak and supply list very soon. If you are planning to attend please comment below, call the store, or otherwise let me know. Thank you!

Update: I have just 2 more spaces left for Saturday morning. Pics below!

Bible Journaling for February is this coming Saturday at 930am. Our theme is “Love Letters to God”. We will use the Hero Arts mail jumble stamp/die set that you all asked for in January as well as a few other things. I don’t have a supply list yet for you except please bring your pencils and gamsol/blending stub.

It’s almost the new year - 2020 - gulp. The new bible journaling schedule is up on the website and we kick off the new year this coming Saturday the 4th at 930am. If you own any alcohol markers please bring them otherwise I will have some to share. Please let us know if you plan to attend. Classes with no RSVPs will be cancelled 😞

UPDATE: since you will be working with napkins please bring along your clear gesso Or any gel medium such as matte medium or soft gloss gel. Something that dries clear.

Our next workshop is July 6 at 9:30am. I’m just about done putting final touches on (2) two-page spreads for ya. Please forgive me for not being at this one BUT I have secured you a most gracious substitute. Emily has so sweetly agreed to help you all next Saturday as I am heading north to be with my family. I expect to return by time we meet in August. More information on what you will be creating will be going up here this weekend. So far you are blending ink, stenciling, and doing some napkin decoupage.

Whatever your faith, and by whatever method you summon good things, please employ it all now for myself and my family. My mother is having major heart bypass surgery and my beloved sister still needs your good vibes to continue to fight a terrible monster. My whole family needs strength and perseverance....peace and healing. So, yes, I am shamelessly plugging for you to charge your crystals, burn your incense, pray, or stand on your head. I’m not picky. Grace and guile ( that’s what Elizabeth Taylor always said, right?). ❤️

Our next meeting is June 1 at 9:30am. Here is a sneak peak! You can use nearly any medium you choose: chalk pastels, colored pencils, watercolor, gelatos. Both designs are about Love and 1 John 4:11-21. I did one design in an interleaved bible and one in a wide margin bible. Please bring a sharp pencil and graphite paper - and any mediums you wish to use. I used chalk, gel pens, black waterproof liner, and watercolor. I sealed mine with Distress Glaze when finished to preserve them. Remember to either sign up online or email so I know you are coming! Thanks! Jacqui

Important announcement!! I’m so sorry but I have to cancel the April 6 bible journaling workshop. Grandma duty is calling me north - how can I refuse? We will resume in May. So sorry for the short notice :/
