I was finally able to complete this tactical gear holder for a breast cancer survivor with a lot of patience. It’s been a challenge to find the time to spend in the workshop, as our master bath remodel is underway. This custom item is perfect to free up some much needed space and keep work gear tidy. It was an honor to create something special for someone with such great strength.

Another Christmas order has been filled! These substantially handcrafted shiplap linear planters are amazing for sprucing up your entry way or porch areas in just minutes without all the dirty work, time, and money required to upkeep traditional flower beds. They are also perfect to use as a mobile planter to hide unsightly pump equipment, to add privacy on a patio, or as an herb garden for townhome living. Simply switch out the plants each season with your favorite potted plants from the garden center for a clean, fun pop of seasonal color! Our linear planters can be made out of cedar planks or white PVC for low maintenance outdoor durability and include a removable black linear planter box insert as shown here.

So once in a while we like to post projects we do that are outside of what you normally see from Salty Line. Please keep in mind the photographer/editor generally makes sure the photos really project the beauty of the project, but this was not the case in this instance. So please excuse the lack of symmetry, adequate lighting and backgound distractions. We truly enjoy the challenge and ingenuity of the work. It's not just about what we tend to do more often. This planter was made from PVC material for sustainability in an exterior environment. It was a project to get outside of the box and challenge us to do something we've not done before. Have an idea?
