I want to take a moment to thank some people who are nothing short of amazing and absolutely AWESOME!
1. I want to thank every owner leader and entrepreneur that I have rubbed shoulders with this year. Thank you for teaching me guiding me and helping me through this year I’ve listened even when you didn’t think I was listening. I was taking everything in and because of that I am a better leader today because of all of you.
2. Thank you to my customers who have believed in me over the years who still continue to love my product and have often stopped into the store without knowing that I just needed a boost, proceeded to express how great you think. My candles are. It’s because of this that I push every day to be my best Thank you for the many conversations the laughs and even the hugs I love being associated with something that is so much greater than myself . You are the best Customers any entrepreneur could have.
3. thank you to my staff who have pushed every button that I have and have taught me not to snap driven me crazy but have taught me to be a better leader to truly listen be understanding and sympathetic, and have taught me to execute my strategies and my goals for the store better . Thank you for being my team. Thank you for believing in me even at times when I didn’t .
4. to my friends, family, and even Facebook friends thank you for being a shoulder to cry on and ear to listen eyes to roll when I’m threatening to close down the business and throw it in the ocean. Thank you for listening to my rants allowing me to drive you crazy and always taking the time to straighten my crown. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and most of all. Thank you for not killing me because as we know murder is still a crime !!!!
To all those leaders out there that are already planning their strategies for next year I feel you, but if I haven’t told you, you can do it. You are great and keep moving forward, and I’m so proud of your determination and your resilience. Thank you for being the power within my walls

Dear friends and family today is the beginning of a long journey. We are officially heading to California to move Andrew and Lexie to camp Pendleton in Oceanside California when I first heard I thought it was halfway across the world and I’m not gonna lie. I’ve been crying a lot, but today is the day that I’ve cut their wings and they have to fly as a parent. It’s one of the toughest things we have to do but we have to know from the day they were born. We put them in God’s hand, good bad or ugly and we have to trust that God‘s plan is better than mine is a mother, I’m extremely proud of Andrew and Lexie. They have grown so much. This is a new journey for them and I’m so proud of everything that Lexie has had to do for the last eight months without him. I also apologize to my family who asked me to keep them updated of what was going on because they were praying. Things have been quite hectic on this front, I’ve been really sick for the last six months with Lupus and stress just seems to add right to it but on the good side I have an amazing group of doctors who have helped me through this journey and we’re back on track so please just say some prayers this week this mom was having a real hard time. We just cleared out their house here and that was hard. We teach our children about relationships and that every relationship is hard work. What you put in is what you get out today when I’m crying so hard and every time I’m crying I’m turn around and I’m saying mamas don’t cry bad mamas don’t cry, but the truth is we do cry and by teaching them about the hard work and relationships. I’ve learned and I’m learning that those are the memories good times those are the memories, so thank you all for praying I will keep you posted. Thank you for believing in me as a mom as a friend as a family member and as a business owner without you I don’t know where I’d be or how strong I would be today so thank you. To all of our customers who shop with us at two Chicks Wicks, we just would like to let you know we are still open, but only this Saturday and Sunday and next Saturday and Sunday as our other daughter will be working the store for us while we are in California. so please be nice to her and I promise she will be nice to you and I look forward to seeing you you all soon. To continue: My daughters best friend since 3rd grade and my 2nd daughter got married this last weekend. We had to leave in a hurry 2 weekends ago due to her father being in critical care and sadly we lost him this morning R.I.H Mike Hess. We are heading home today but will be returning in July or August for his celebration of life. Thankyou to all of our loyal customers for being patient with us. We will be back and the store will be open this Friday May 12th.
