So here’s an extremely rare piece that walked in the shop: This is an 1861 parade flag made for celebrating Virginia’s secession from the Union. This is the 8 star flag as opposed to the far more common 7 star. In addition 7 star flags were made post war as well. The 8 and 9 star were wartime production. It still has half the stick it was glued to. You can almost Imagine a young kid waving this at a parade as the soldiers marched by. Come see us for your rare historical needs.

We have recently purchased a large CW collection from the estate of an old reenacting buddy of mine. We’re still sorting and pricing though we have all his reenacting gear out. There’s some really incredible pieces. Hopefully we’ll be finished pricing over the weekend. Come see us!

So, this happened. We were voted in as a Trail Affiliate. Next step, is to try and become a full Trail Partner so we can do the WWII Passports and all that other stuff.
