The Dewey Mister was invented by Dewey Davison in 2013.

Dewey is a long time backyard hobbyist, gardener and inventor. He has dabbled in all sorts of gardening from traditional, aeroponics, hydroponics and to aquaponics. It was from his experience aquaponics with using air to move water with air instead of water pumps that led to the air driven and now patented Dewey Mister for aeroponic growing. Even with the first prototypes the growing results were

amazing. Dewey’s son Jeff has been an Aero/Hydro growing enthusiast for years. When Jeff first saw the Dewey Mister he was immediately excited at the power of his Dad’s invention. Jeff had experienced for years the issues with the products on the market. Water pumps in Aero/Hydro systems heated the water and had a tendency to grow bad bacteria, mister heads constantly clogged and systems, although effective the systems were very high maintenance and too often led to contaminated grows and lost harvests or reduced yields. It turns out the Dewey Mister solved all the nagging aero/hydro issues. Patent attorneys were hired and production molds were designed and the Dewey Mister was introduced in Novi Michigan at a Maximum Yield Trade show. The Maximum Yield Trade Show was a major success. The booth was packed the entire show and the Dewey Mister ended up being the most innovative new product at the show. There was a buzz of excitement as many long time industry experts were puzzled by the simplicity and awesome performance of the mister. As a result the Dewey Mister was spotlighted in the next edition of Maximum Yield. Jeff took the Dewey Mister on the road across the country and the response was amazing and the Dewey Mister was officially launched. Since then several new products have been designed and developed. With each design the focus is effectiveness, durability, simplicity, ease of maintenance and cleaning. The growing machines had to be compatible, expandable and multifunctional to scale to the growers need and to grow a variety of plants. The systems had to grow fast, yield high and allow for perpetual harvests. The goal at Dewey Mister is to provide innovative and exciting Growing Solutions and join you in leading this Growing Revolution.

How to set up your Dewey Mister 14 Site Cloner

The best way to attach your to the bottom of the bucket is with the extreme adhesive Velcro included with your set up kit. For best results allow 24 hours for the adhesion to dry and cure before adding water.
There are also suction cups included with your kit, but not recommended as a reliable fastener for your Mister.
Alway rinse all Cloner parts before assembling.
Now insert the mixing chamber into the base, allowing the small hole to be slightly exposed attach the air hose and place the Mister in the bottom of the bucket. There is a slot in the lid to run the air hose place the lid on the bucket and install the inserts.
Put approximately 3/4 of a gallon of water and your preferred solutions. Always set your water between 5.5 and 6.0 pH.
