Design Tip Tuesday: Getting mirror & sconce proportions right! 🪞💡

Upgrading a bath vanity? Before you cut drywall or run wire, use these 3 designer rules to make sure your mirror and sconces scale perfectly together:

1️⃣ Sconce Height: Mount wall sconces so the center of the bulb/fixture sits around 60 to 65 inches from the floor (roughly eye level).
2️⃣ Mirror Width: Your vanity mirror should be roughly 70–80% of the width of your vanity cabinet to leave 3 to 6 inches of breathing room on each side for wall sconces.
3️⃣ Sconce Clearance: Keep 2 to 4 inches of space between the outer edge of the mirror frame and the sconce base so the wall doesn't look crowded.
