☁️ Hello friends! ☁️

You may have noticed that I’ve been pretty quiet lately….

Part of that is because I have been dealing with some health issues, as is my oldest daughter, so that has been difficult to navigate and has taken most of my attention lately.

The other part is TARIFFS. As a small business owner, the tariffs against China have immensely impacted my small business. I’ve been working on navigating the complexities of finding new suppliers and trying to come up with a plan to sustain my business without passing huge costs on to my customers.

There will be some changes to what kinds of products I will be able to offer going forward due to supply chain issues. I’m a micro tiny home based small business - any change to costs of supplies and materials has an immediate impact on me.

As we navigate these difficult times, I hope to be able to continue offering unique, affordable products that help celebrate the joy of reading as well as social justice/activism/inclusive feel good products.

I have a shop update planned, and will keep you guys updated on what new goodies I’m able to offer as I develop creative solutions to supply chain expenses and issues.

I fear we have some dark economic times ahead, and my heart goes out to everyone but especially small businesses like me who are now forced to plan for this foolishness. I love y’all 🌸 We will get through these times together.

I really enjoyed this group while it lasted. But unfortunately it not longer aligns with my values and I disagree with how Brittany and Shelby run it (and the after dark version.)

This was the final straw. I will be leaving the group today and liquidating all bookish milspouse merch until it is gone forever.
