While continuing to work on creating a new permanent location for the studio, I’ve really missed offering the pottery wheel to our community. I have been using an area in the front living room of our personal home for myself and thought maybe others would think this space was just fine too! What do you think? Would this pass as an inviting/comfortable, but also professional space to create ceramicsl? I’d really like to offer the wheel again while waiting on getting the permanent location ready! Please share what you think below. 🥰

Seaglass Collection Update

This Christmas Break we returned to Myrtle Beach to surprise Mr. Fox with the pottery collection that was made with some of the seaglass he and his late wife had collected over the years from the New Jersey coastline. When I arrived at his shop in Georgetown, to my shock, it was completely empty! I walked across the hall to the other small business and asked if he had moved to a new location. The owner shared that Mr. Fox had passed away in October of 2024. She did have his son’s contact information and was going to give him my info. And maybe, they will want these trinket dishes with seaglass that was collected by their parents. Who knows. I’m sad Mr. Fox never got to see these creations, but sometimes that’s just the way life goes. Nothing is ever for certain and it’s a reminder to be grateful for the moments we still have.

Last workshop of 2024 was this evening at Fort Wayne Recovery! 🥰 We had some ornaments, grounding stones, and initial plates! ♥️ This firing will also include some monstera earrings I’ve been working on too! 😏🪴
