Love a good oil reveal!!

This curly ambrosia maple is absolutely stunning, I can't even tell you how much prettier it is in person.

Also, left the video sound alone for a little action.

A little weaving to finish off the evening after I left the woodshop for the night.

If you saw me in person at SouthEastern Animal Fiber Fair , you saw me weaving on one of three projects. I keep getting asked how they turned out. All need finished (knots knotted and ties tied and all that), but this one didn't actually come off the loom on Sunday. Pretty excited for all this texture!

Have YOU tried the peg loom? It is not all flat and utilitarian!

Texture, and rise and fall, and grain, and ebb and flow make this form of weaving just as much art as you want to make it.
