We’re honored to celebrate Thorntown Elementary School in Thorntown, Indiana, for being recognized in the 2026 Educational Interiors Showcase by American School & University magazine.

Thorntown Elementary received Outstanding Design – Interior Renovation, highlighting the thoughtful transformation of learning spaces created to support students, educators, and the school community.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of the design team along with Primary Engineering and Tecton Construction Management and grateful to Western Boone County Community School Corporation for the opportunity to help bring their vision for Thorntown Elementary to life.

Exciting progress is happening at the LaGrange Innovation Center!

This nearly 13,000-square-foot renovation is well under construction and continuing to take shape. Once complete, the space will become a shared home for the LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation, the LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce, and GO Explore Childcare & Preschool, currently operating as Imagination Station.

More than simply a renovated building, the Innovation Center is being designed as a true hub for activity, connection, and opportunity within LaGrange County.

It’s exciting to see the vision coming to life, and we’re proud to be part of a project that will bring people, businesses, education, and community resources together under one roof.

The way we experience our public libraries has changed over the years. What were once primarily quiet spaces for books, reading, and research have evolved into vibrant community destinations for learning, technology, collaboration, creativity, connection, and so much more.

But through all that change, one thing has remained constant: the important role libraries play in the heart of our communities. They are places where generations come together, ideas are discovered, connections are made, and communities grow.

At Moake Park Group, we love our public libraries and are always honored to partner with library leaders and communities as they envision what comes next. While library design continues to evolve, their purpose and importance to the communities they serve never goes out of style.

We are excited to welcome Adrian Carbonell to the Moake Park Group team as an Architectural Intern this fall! Originally from the Chicago area, Adrian is a fourth-year student at Ball State University, majoring in Architecture with a minor in Architectural Digital Design. His architectural interests include K-12 education, healthcare, and adaptive reuse, and we look forward to giving him the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in these areas throughout the semester.

Outside of architecture, Adrian enjoys working out, drawing, painting, and model-making.

Today we said good bye to our three architectural interns. It has been a true pleasure having them as part of the Moake Park Team this summer. They did an amazing job and will be missed. We wish them all the best as they head back to school.

What a great night for a baseball game, was a little worried about the rain but turned out to be perfect night. It is always fun to have the staff and their families come together for an evening out.

What a great evening at the Brown Mansion Groundbreaking. This ceremony marked the celebration and formal launch of a major initiative to preserve regional history by restoring the historic Brown Mansion (1885) and constructing a new barn expansion. The renovation and expansion project will bring the historic Brown Mansion campus up to ADA standards while creating new opportunities for exhibits, archives, educational programming, and community engagement. Moake Park Group is honored to be part of this meaningful project, and we look forward to helping bring their vision to life.
