I have been a 4 leaf clover hunter since I was a child. I was never successful in my hunting until I was in my early 20's when my mother passed away in 2002. Since then I have found hundreds if not over a thousand (yes literally that many) 4 leaf, 5 leaf, 6 leaf and even a few 7 and 9 leaf clovers! I often find these in times of personal distress and in those moments where you just need your mom's
advise or comforting. It has not been uncommon for me to find "bouquets" of 4 and 5 leaf clovers in one sitting. I call all of these clovers my "spirit gifts" or "gifts from the other side" and I feel so blessed to find them. I find them wherever I go.... my yard, work, walks around town and in my neighborhood, vacations, forests, trails, and on my cemetery adventures. I feel that there is a purpose for all of this and I have decide to make art with all of these clovers. I have started by casting them in resin for jewelry, magnets and keychains. I also preserve them on little canvas boards for magnets or wall hangings. In the future I plan to branch out as I am finding the possibilities to incorporate clovers into art for displaying or wearing is so exciting and boundless! I have a variety of designs in hopes to interest many different tastes. I make plain and pretty and sparkly pieces along with creepy pieces. I love the strange and unusual and I like to incorporate those concepts into my art. I may open up custom designs, color or shape requests at a later point. I am still learning the craft of casting resin. I am not a professional so there may be imperfections in each piece. I also feel that every clover is special no matter what it looks like. Not every piece will have a perfect clover. Sometimes the disfigured, discolored, and the broken and bruised clovers are the most beautiful in my eyes. My mother was an outgoing beautiful carefree loving soul who was also an artist. I have always dabbled with various art mediums in my spare time in hopes to be like her. Making these resin creations has been so comforting and very healing for me and I hope you enjoy my clovers as much as I do! I have so many and I am so happy to share them with the world, especially in these crazy times. We could all use a little extra luck!!
