# # # **Welcome to the New Chapter of Kerry’s Creations and Heartfelt Verse** 💛🕊️
Hi friends,
I’ve been sitting with this post for a long time, trying to find the “right” words—because this page isn’t just a business page to me. It’s history. It’s grief. It’s love. It’s legacy. And it’s me finding my way back home to something my mother started with her own two hands. ✨
My mom, Kerry, passed away in **November of 2017** 🕯️, and with her went a piece of my world that I’m still learning how to live without. But what she left behind was bigger than a name or a craft table. She left behind a dream: to make people smile 😊, to help people say what they feel when the feelings are too big to organize, and to create things that make moments feel remembered. 💐
She did that in so many ways—handmade cards that carried the kind of love you can’t buy in a store 💌, invitations that made people feel celebrated before the event even started 🎉, wreaths and fancy decorative candy canes that brought joy into homes 🎀🍬, trinket boxes full of charm, and cakes that were more than dessert—they were part of the memory 🎂. She even created learning tools for her grandbabies… alphabet sheets, clocks, and little hands‑on things that helped them grow 🧩⏰. She loved with her creativity. She loved out loud. ❤️
And then life happened.
After she passed, I tried to keep going… but the truth is, I haven’t been very active here because I’ve been surviving. There have been big life changes—the kind that take all of you. And when you’re balancing grief, work, motherhood, and everything else life demands, sometimes the dream has to sit on a shelf for a while—still loved, still important… just waiting. 🌿
But I never forgot what I promised her.
It may have taken me a few years to pick up the pen, but I am keeping that promise—at least, I am trying. 🤞
The night before my mother died, she told me:
**“Jessica Mari, the world needs to hear your words.”** ✍️💛
And I promised her I would start writing again.
So this is me keeping that promise. 🤍
That’s where **Heartfelt Verse** comes in. Kerry’s Creations is still what it’s always been at its core—handmade, meaningful, created with purpose—but now it has grown with me. Over time, I found new ways to create and to cope. I poured myself into **clay, resin, vinyl, beads, and jewelry** 🎨🧿—pieces that hold more than just beauty… they hold stories.
And now, I’m also offering **custom poetry, custom lyrics, and full song services** 🎶📜, because sometimes a poem says what we can’t… and sometimes a song carries a message straight into someone’s heart and stays there. 🥹💞
This business is becoming what it always was meant to be: a place where emotion can be turned into something tangible. Something you can hold. Something you can gift. Something you can keep. 🫶
And now… there’s another layer to this story.
My kids are stepping in. 👧🏽👦🏽💕
We’re introducing a **“Made by Child”** line—sparked by my eight‑year‑old daughter, who was only nine months old when my mother passed, yet still holds such tender love for the idea of her. She looks at what I’m building and says, *“I’ll work for a dollar a day, Mommy!”* 💵😂 And she has no idea what that does to my heart. Because it’s not about the dollar—it’s about her wanting to be beside me. Wanting to create with me. Wanting to be part of something bigger than us. 🥰
So yes… this is a restructure. A refresh. A rebuild. 🔄✨
But more than that, it’s a return.
It’s me choosing to honor my mother, not only with memories, but with motion—by continuing what she started and letting it evolve into something new, something deeper, something that still carries her name and her heart in every piece. 💛🌸
And it’s also me showing my children that even when life hits hard, even when you feel like giving up, you can still build something beautiful. You can still persevere. You can still rise. 🌅💪
Thank you for being here. Thank you for your patience as I navigate what this “new” looks like. And thank you for supporting a small family business built on love, legacy, and a whole lot of heart. 🙏❤️
Here’s to new beginnings, Mom. 🕊️
I hope I’m making you proud. 🥹💛
With love,
