I picked up several beautiful hand made mosaic lamps imported from Turkey at World Market and was finally able to place them around the rug gallery for the best views. Absolutely stunning pieces carefully crafted by skilled artisans. The family was wonderful to chat with and the owner's mother who works on lamps when not with him in the States for market was the cutest little old Turkish woman you could possibly imagine.

TONIGHT! From 6pm-9pm up and down the Broadway Arts District FW join us for late gallery hours, special guests, amazing art, fabulous food, and an all around great time. Satek Winery will be offering a wine tasting here at the Rug Gallery while we celebrate new rugs just in from the World Market. Park for free in the lot at the corner of Wilt & Van Buren and walk the district to celebrate Art Madness!

Hey friends of the Broadway Arts District FW, Fox Island has always been a special place for my family. Sarah Leitch has so many pictures of the kids walking the trails and enjoying nature in this hidden gem. I would encourage you to find a spring piece to contribute or create something new to share as this poem and art walk is such a beautiful display of humanity and nature coming together beautifully.
