Designed to be paws-itively purrfect!🐾

Our team designed the City of Mansfield, Texas Municipal Government Animal Care and Control Center with the intention of creating a welcoming environment for both visitors and animals. The lobby features a whimsical acoustic ceiling inspired by birds in flight, along with a photo opportunity to celebrate new adoptions. The vibrant color palette helps guide visitors to rooms like the “Zoomie Zone” or the “Purrfect Playground,” while the murals and playful messaging showcase the fun and personable spirit of the City of Mansfield. Together, these elements create an experience that gives pets a second chance at finding a furever home.

Thank you to Articulation Art for collaborating with us to select artwork that accentuates this facility’s vibrant character.

And that’s a wrap on Oktoberfest!

Team members Lupe, Shrutika, Evan, Mackenzie, Bessy, and Lyndsey teamed up with ACH Child and Family Services, Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, and Cancer Care Services in this year’s Olympics for a Cause, competing for a chance to win a $500 donation toward their team’s cause.

Although they did not place first, their hard work and support rank them #1 in our hearts.

Prost to all the organizations who competed this year!

At any animal care facility, our goal is to create a facility that serves both animals and the community, and this one will have a lasting impact for years to come.

This 25,227-square-foot City of Mansfield, Texas Municipal Government Animal Care and Control was built from the ground up to meet the City’s growing needs. With meet-and-greet rooms, play yards, a veterinary checkup space, and a surgical space, this facility creates a perfect temporary home for both domestic and livestock animals.

Stay tuned to hear more about interior and exterior details!

Our Affordable Housing Design posse traded business casual for cowboy hats and boots at this year’s Texas Housing Authority Conference. 🤠

Hosted in our hometown of Fort Worth, we kicked off the conference by opening our doors and welcoming clients to a happy hour in appreciation of their work. The next day we headed to the conference and connected with attendees about their changing housing design needs.

While the affordable housing landscape feels like the Wild West, we’re eager to saddle up to help housing authorities cross that frontier through design.

New month, new hire, more reasons to celebrate! We’re welcoming Architectural Intern Evan Roberts to the team.

Evan recently graduated magna cm laude from the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design with his Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Urban Planning. Graduating top 10% is impressive on its own, but Evan has also been a part of not one, but two award-winning group projects. Most notably, his conceptual redesign of the U.S. Pavilion at the Venice Biennale received the ELEVATE Selection from AIA Arkansas and is currently on display at the pavilion’s site in Italy.

Between weekly runs with his run club and slower-paced hikes, he's covering plenty of ground. When the heat drives him indoors, he trades trail shoes for an apron or a paintbrush at a local cooking or painting class.

We’re thrilled to welcome Evan and can’t wait to see what he designs next!
