The American Girl® / Disney Alice in Wonderland Collector Series doll is sold out — but your doll can still take her own trip down the rabbit hole to Wonderland.

Way back in 2014, we created our own Alice in Wonderland homage doll for a holiday benefit auction for one of our favorite charities, the Los Angeles Rabbit Foundation.

Our Alice (formerly Kit) wore a crisp white pinafore — with graceful slash-and-gather ruffles at the shoulders — that was a prototype for Lee & Pearl Pattern #1022: Cookie Time Apron, Pinafore and Oven Mitt for 18" Dolls, now available in our Etsy shop.

We paired it with an Alice-blue striped dress made from the vintage Pleasant Company patterns, then added all the tiny Wonderland details: a “Drink Me” bottle, a miniature Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland book, a moiré ribbon rose and, of course, a White Rabbit.

Pearl may have just bought another 1,000+ yards of silk fabric at a Dallas area fabric store liquidation sale. 😅

There were three whole bolts of silk velvet, too, the kind we made our girl’s glorious 14th century mantle from!!!

Pearl really needs to spend a solid week posting yardage on Etsy…
