For today's Throwback Thursday, we're taking a little stroll down memory lane and sharing some of the festive Christmas treasures that have filled our warehouse at past shows! From vintage Santas and sparkling ornaments to beautiful holiday décor, whimsical treasures, and one-of-a-kind Christmas finds, our vendors sure know how to bring the holiday magic!

And if these pictures don't get you in the Christmas spirit, we don't know what will! The BEST part? Our upcoming Fall Show is just around the corner, and our talented vendors are already busy transforming the warehouse into a wonderland of vintage, antique, shabby, rusty, chippy, and HOLIDAY goodness! So grab a cup of hot cocoa (or an iced tea... it IS Texas!), enjoy these pictures from Christmases past, and start dreaming about all the treasures waiting to be discovered!

THE BOXES ARE ARRIVING… AND THE FUN HAS BEGUN!

Right now, it may look like a warehouse full of boxes, bags, tubs and totes…but OH, what’s hiding inside! Our dealers have been hauling in load after load, and the work has officially begun. Boxes are being opened, tubs are being emptied, furniture is being moved, walls are going up, and little by little, all those wonderful treasures are finding their perfect spots. And believe us…there is some GOOD STUFF being unpacked! 👀

Vintage treasures, fabulous furniture, rusty goodness, chippy finds, holiday décor, beautiful home accessories, one-of-a-kind pieces and plenty of things we didn't even know we needed until we saw them. This is one of our favorite parts of getting ready for The Uncommon Affair. What starts as stacks of boxes and piles of “stuff” slowly turns into the beautiful, over-the-top displays our dealers are known for.

There is still a LOT of unpacking, arranging, hanging, fluffing, tweaking and probably a little cussing left to do. But the warehouse is coming alive, and we are getting more excited by the day!

🕰️ THROWBACK THURSDAY 🕰️

We’re throwing it back to some fun finds from Ruby Grace’s!
And can we talk about that black cabinet for a minute?! That thing was pretty spectacular. If YOU happen to be the lucky person who took it home, we’d love to see where it ended up! Post a picture in the comments and show us how you styled it.

That’s one of our favorite things about The Uncommon Affair—you just never know what you’re going to find. An incredible old cabinet, rusty industrial pieces, vintage signs, architectural treasures, or something wonderfully weird that you didn’t know you needed until you saw it.

And somehow… WE’RE ONLY 5 WEEKS AWAY!
Our vendors are already digging, hauling, building, painting, rearranging and filling up the warehouse with all kinds of fabulous finds. Now it’s YOUR job to start preparing. Clear out the SUV. Measure that empty wall. Sweet-talk somebody with a truck. And maybe start saving your pennies (or nickels if you can't find and pennies).

✨ MEET THE RUNNERS OF THE UNCOMMON AFFAIR! ✨

We thought it was time to introduce ourselves! ❤️

We are Denis, Dorothy & Lauren, the three people behind The Uncommon Affair Vintage & Antique Show. We absolutely love what we do, and we are so grateful for every single person who has supported our show, shopped with our vendors, and helped make The Uncommon Affair what it is today.

We’ve made so many wonderful friends along the way, and we truly cannot wait to see all of our familiar faces November 6th & 7th — and, of course, meet plenty of new friends, too! 🥰

If you see us at the show, come say hello! We’re always happy to answer questions, help you find something, or just stop and visit for a minute. ❤️

And keep an eye on our page… 👀
