When you fly into Denver for a week, and your friends take you antiquing, this is what happens! Good thing they are coming to Texas in October and driving. Hopefully all this will fit in the back of their SUV!

I heard a designer on TV say that accenting with vintage pieces was back in favor. I love that the vintage look is in, but now stores like Hobby Lobby are jumping on the bandwagon and reproducing. I hope folks will still value the real thing and not get the look by using cheap knockoffs. Sure would hurt a lot of antique and vintage dealers out here.

Today marks the start of my 34th year spending a week at Camp El Tesoro de la Vida grief camp for youth who have lost a loved one due to death. Today we spent time in training and laughter with our incredible 70+ volunteers. Tonight we lit candles for the loved ones we have lost. My candle was for my Aunt Carol and my friend Steve. It is an emotional start and the kids don’t even arrive until tomorrow! 102 kids by the way! Sweet dreams!
