Florist in the wild… and suddenly I’m doing mental math. 👀🌿😂

The Boss Women Bus Tour brought us to the Ga***rd Texan today, where I casually stumbled upon THOUSANDS of dollars worth of gorgeous anthurium… and immediately had to fight every intrusive thought telling me to whip out my clippers. ✂️🤣

The self-control it took to simply admire them and WALK AWAY deserves some serious recognition. 😂

Such a fun day with the Boss Women Bus Tour — although apparently no one considered the dangers of bringing a florist here unsupervised. 🌿✂️😂

Flower therapy. 🌸

Growing flowers, designing with them, teaching others about them, working with them, delivering them—every part of this beautiful process has provided a kind of therapy for me over the years. There’s something incredibly grounding about working with my hands, being surrounded by nature, and turning flowers into something meaningful.

But what I’m most grateful for is knowing that the florals I create get to be there for your moments. 💐

They’re there for the joyful ones—weddings, birthdays, celebrations, new beginnings, and milestones. And they’re there for the tender ones too—when flowers help us honor and remember someone we love who is no longer with us.

Flowers have a beautiful way of saying what words sometimes can’t. I feel incredibly fortunate that something that brings me so much joy and peace also allows me to create a little beauty, comfort, and happiness for my wonderful clients.

That’s flower therapy to me. 🌷🤍
