⭐️ GOODBYE HELLO OPEN HOUSE ⭐️

After 21 incredible years growing The Artful Bead, Mary Harrison is retiring to be with family in KC. Abi Bechard of .bemade is buying the store and continuing on its legacy as the only Fort Worth bead store of its kind. will be the new name of an old favorite space.

Join us for an official event where you can say your goodbyes to Mary and Debra before they retire. We are so excited to see all the familiar faces and give you one last chance to shop with them.

Abi will be there with her people so you can meet the new owner and support her in continuing this gem of a shop.

The open house is Saturday, June 22 from 10-5 (normal open hours). We will have a raffle of various prizes, door prizes, and refreshments! Cold popsicles from

Bring in some favorite beading art that you have made under Mary’s tutelage or from Artful Bead materials! This is the great time to thank her and show off what you’ve made.

If you can’t make it that day, come in any time before or leave us a comment below. You can even get raffle tickets without being at the open house. Mostly we want Mary to see your faces one last time!

We made this one up in the shop and loved it so much we made kits for you! And of course, we used high quality stone like amethyst and apatite so you know you’re wearing a genuine cool stone against your skin. Love this look but want to choose your own stones? Come in and we will walk you through your options!

We love when Abu comes through with his African beads. He fills the shop with color and texture. Especially interesting to see what vintage pieces he has. These are high quality, one of a kind strands.

We are imagining a lot of ways these can be used in the summer. They are made to be in the sun.
