Let's talk about hosting! 🍸

I LOVE having people over. Give me a good cocktail, a yummy appetizer, a fresh vase of flowers, and a burning candle and I'm good to go! I think people make hosting way harder than it needs to be. You don't have to cook some elaborate meal or have every inch of your house looking perfect. Just invite your people over and have some fun!

I love setting the table, getting out all my cute stuff, lighting the candles and making everything feel festive. But cooking an entire Thanksgiving meal? No thank you. I'll happily let someone else handle that part!

I just think there's something so fun about having a house full of people. Everyone hanging out in the kitchen, drinks flowing, lots of laughing and nobody in a hurry to leave. That's my kind of night!

So don't overthink it. Order the food, throw some flowers in a vase, make a good drink and invite your friends over. Nobody cares if you made the food yourself!

Here’s our argument for buying the whole outfit.

You know when you buy a really great top, get it home, and realize you don’t actually have anything you love wearing with it?

Showstopper or basics? 👀

Our answer? BOTH.

The basics are what make your closet work. The showstoppers are what make it interesting. 😜

Do you need another great pair of jeans? Probably.

The trick is building a closet with enough good basics that when you find that one showstopper piece, you already have everything you need to wear with it.
