While most of things lately have been ‘work’ related, we’ve been trying to ensure we spend time with our framily here as we prepare to say good bye. Last night, a friend and I did a barn quilt class with Creations by SB. We had so much fun and because it’s less instruction based than regular painting classes, we got to actually sit and chat throughout. Thank you for everyone’s patience as the last couple months have been ridiculously busy. (Not just business wise, but handing over leadership positions, packing, prepping our house to sell, end of school, etc).

Monograms, monograms…. I know that moving to the south is something that will be requested more than what it does now. So I’m thinking about doing a monthly monogram ‘membership’. It would be a monthly themed t-shirt with the monogram for $20 for local pickup or $25 shipped.

They would ship a month prior to the theme it’s for - ie Augusts would be a fall themed, Septembers would be Halloween themed, etc.

Regular price to get the monogram items without being part of the ‘membership’ would be $25 for local pickup and $30 shipped.

My machines and all my supplies have arrived in Tennessee. My husband, youngest, two nephews, SIL, and her SO got everything unloaded and into the shop in Dayton, TN. I won’t be there to fully get things running until middle of next month, but in the meantime, here’s a quick peek into the main space.

Sent out another 14 backpacks for Kinetic Gymnastics this week. I’m not sure how many I’ve stitched over the last couple years for their gym, but it’s been a pleasure working with Shellee during that time. 💙 Since backpacks aren’t the most feasible to mail back and forth, this is one place I will be officially saying bye to when we leave here.

Huge thank you to Dolly 'RED 'Design for reaching out and offering her embroidery machines to me to finish the order I’d missed! People always talk about collaboration over competition but from the moment I met Ms Diane, she’s been an example of it. From encouraging me to join the farmers market years ago to situations like this. (She’s the driving force behind the farmers market every Saturday at Metcalfe Park in Fountain.)

If you need someone to either embroider something or do alterations, make sure you reach out to Diane. She’ll get you taken care of! ❤️
