I locked the doors to my store for the very last time last night. My second home for nearly 8 years. If walls could talk, these old brick walls would tell you all about the friends, family, and staff working countless hours, late into the night on store flips and renovations. The many pizza parties on the dirty floor. My babies in their bouncers watching their mama work. Years of memories I feel so so grateful to have. This building was so much more than “just a store”, it was everything to me. My blood, sweat, and tears.
I am SO damn proud of the 23 year old girl who set aside a fresh bachelors degree to take a chance on a dream. Years of HARD work and pushing through a global pandemic, turned that dream into so much more than I could have imagined. I just feel so grateful to have LIVED❤️
This journey has taught me to be bold, take chances, live fearlessly, and feel confident in who I am & the choices I make. Although, I am confident in my decision to close, it certainly wasn’t an easy choice, and right now I feel like I’m missing a huge piece of my heart💔
I truly cannot thank you all enough for being the most INCREDIBLE community. You have shown me true unconditional love and support and I am eternally grateful for that. I will never forget all of your smiling faces (bright and early, rain/snow or shine!) lined up outside my door on event days, going out of your way to purchase a gift from us instead of another big box store, and as of recent, the overwhelming amount of sweet messages of encouragement and affirmation for the decision I have made. I don’t know what I did to deserve such wonderful customers, but I cherish each and every one of you, and hope we can remain forever friends.
What a beautiful adventure. Here’s to wherever life leads me next!❤️
