To my loyal customers and friends,
After 8 years of serving the Frankfort community as the owner of White Street Market, I have made the decision to move in a new direction and reimagine what the future holds for me.
When I bought White Street, I had never worked in retail. I simply had AMAZING friends who helped me unbox and price merchandise late into the night, a love for beautiful things, and a hope that I could create a space where people felt inspired, welcomed, and at home.
What I never could have imagined was how much this store would give back to me!
Over the years, you’ve trusted me to help decorate your homes, choose meaningful gifts, and celebrate life’s special moments. But more than that, you’ve shared your stories, your families, your joys, and sometimes even your struggles. What began as a store became a place of connection, friendship, and community.
While this decision comes with sadness, it also comes with a deep sense of peace and gratitude. I am incredibly proud of what White Street Market has been and what it has meant to so many people.
As this chapter begins to close, I find myself reflecting on all of you—the conversations at the register, the familiar faces who stopped in just to say hello, the friendships that were formed, and the countless ways this community and fellow small business owners showed up to support me and this store.
Thank you for encouraging me. Thank you for shopping small. Thank you for being kind to me, my employees, my family, and this business through every season.
I hope you’ll stop in over the coming weeks so I can thank you in person, share a hug, and celebrate all that this special place has given us.
