Frankfort Fire was well-stocked with super treat bags for today’s Trunk for Treats in downtown Frankfort. I had an absolutely delightful time meeting all of the trick-or-treaters and their families. Especially touching was this family who thanked firefighters for saving Grandpa from a full arrest from a heart attack. 🙏 God Bless every person out there that we serve. Happy Halloween to everyone! Be safe! 🧡. Special thank you to Jennifer Adcock for preparing over 1300 treat bags with her team! You are the best!!!

SECONDS COUNT. WILL THEY EVER TALK AGAIN, WALK AGAIN, LIVE??? our firefighters are responsible for saving lives. As your Trustee I ask you to vote for everyone to have the best chance at life. Atrial Fibrillation caused my momma to have a clot that caused a massive stroke and almost cost her life. Here are the before and after photos of her angiogram. I’m grateful to say she’s perfect today recovered quickly with fast, fabulous help at Silver Cross Hospital but I could have lost her if not for the quick actions and educated firefighters that saved her life. SECONDS WERE THE DIFFERENCE. VOTE TUESDAY!

How many people does it take to save a life during a full cardiopulmonary arrest or to get someone out of a burning structure? Look here, the number is many. Right now staffing here in Frankfort is below national standards. 20+ years without a raise while the town population exploded…. We need your vote on Tuesday. I’m proud to be one of your trustees here and working to keep all of us safe and with the best services like Frankfort deserves. Thank you.

Thanks to the Chicago Tribune for this informative article. Meeting the needs of the community remains the most important thing in an emergency.

Call volume for the Frankfort Fire Protection District has nearly doubled over the past two decades while staffing has not increased.

If you’ve ever had a real serious emergency, you know what I mean when I say it’s horrible waiting when someone’s life and their health outcome depends on prompt care! I’ll never forget when my Dad collapsed with a heart attack or my Mom had a stroke. Only because they rushed, she was saved without defecits!!! They were wonderful!!! Hope you will be going to the voting booth, it’s been over two decades since the district received a raise. Thank you.

WE NEED TO RETAIN OUR FIREFIGHTERS WITH COMPETITIVE SALARIES AND STAFF OUR 5th STATION WITH AN AMBULANCE AND STAFF FOR IT. As it stands now, we have 5 houses and only 4 with ambulances. Prompt response times saves lives!!!!! As one of your Fire Trustees, I am hard at work for you to be protected and to be receiving the best services. It’s been 26 years since the district has had a raise while the town grew incredibly and doubled the amount of calls with same year 2000 staffing!! Our firefighters work SO hard!!! VOTE NOV 3. Thank you!!! ❤️. Also, remember, we are NOT GOVERNED OR FUNDED BY THE VILLAGE. WE ARE OUR OWN GOVERNING ENTITY.

Frankfort Fire is planning for what it will take to maintain reliable emergency response as our community’s needs continue to grow. Voters will consider an operating tax rate proposal on Nov. 3. This plan addresses critical needs and would increase the district’s limiting tax rate by 32.5-cents, resulting in an approximately $9.90 increase a week for the owner of a $500,000 home.

It’s a long-term responsible financial plan designed to support the District’s commitment to safety and emergency care.
