THE ANTICIPATION IS OVER!
For years, people have asked me, Why don’t you sell your photography?
Photography has always been something I’ve loved. I’ve had the opportunity to show my work in a couple of private art shows in New Orleans, but mostly it has remained a hobby, a way to capture and preserve special moments and places.
I’ve thought about doing something more with it many times, but I never found the right way.
Until now.
I am SO excited to introduce FAMILIAR PLACES, created in collaboration with my friend Tina at West St. Mary Trophy Supply.
Using my original photography and designs, we’re creating 8-inch ceramic plates inspired by the souvenir and collector plates of years past, celebrating the places we know, remember and love. Each image is available in blue, green and burgundy.
And where better to begin than home?
Our first release is THE FRANKLIN COLLECTION, featuring familiar places from Franklin’s past and present. And just in time for Christmas, select images will also be available on beautiful glass Christmas ornaments!
And we’re already working on what comes next! Our next Franklin collection will celebrate our historic churches, followed by a collection featuring Franklin’s beautiful historic homes.
After that, Familiar Places will begin traveling beyond Franklin, featuring surrounding cities, communities and landmarks.
We’ll also offer custom orders using your own special image - a family home, church, business or any place that holds a special memory.
