Happy World Bee Day from Strickland Acres 🌼🐝 A day Late!

Today we celebrate the tiny workers who do some of the biggest jobs on the farm. From flowers blooming to gardens growing, bees help make it all possible.

Take a moment today to plant something pollinator-friendly, support local honey, or simply stop and listen to the hum of a busy summer garden.

Around here, we’re especially thankful for every bee buzzing through the blooms at Floral Sunset at Strickland Acres. 🌸🍯💛

Floral Sunset at Strickland Acres Update

Last year Floral Sunset took a little pause. Life brought two very special additions that needed my time and attention — one sweet new grandbaby and the other a brand-new wing on the farmhouse. Both were worth every moment.

But as the seasons change, so do the gardens… and I’m happy to say Floral Sunset is slowly waking back up.

Seeds are being started, trays are filling the green house, and new plants are beginning their journey toward this season’s flowers.

There’s nothing quite like the excitement of those first tiny sprouts pushing through the soil a reminder that beautiful things take a little patience.

This season will start small and grow as the garden grows, but I’m looking forward to sharing flowers from Strickland Acres again soon.

Stay tuned as the seedlings grow and the fields begin to bloom. 🌱🌼
