Scentually Southern High quality handmade wood wick soy candles and other unique gifts. Scentually Southern began as a simple hobby that transitioned into a true passion.

In 2005, shortly after giving birth to her first child, Theresa Kurban was looking for a fun hobby to relieve the stresses of being a stay-at-home mom. Candle making seemed like an obvious choice since she was known to burn candles each day. After buying an initial starter kit from a local hobby shop, she began the trial an error process of making candles for herself. The following Christmas, she

thought her recently made candles would make fun and unique gifts. After a few more years of candle making, while experimenting with various candle styles and waxes, she realized she preferred the way soy candles with a wood wick looked and burned. She continued to make her candles as a hobby until some of her close friends began asking her more often to make candles for them and as gifts. She began making candles and selling them to close friends and family.
