Personal favorite find in Round Top. 18th Century French cast stone fragment of Jesus. Monumental in size .. 38”. Many of you know I collect figural fragments relating to the early churches. I always seem to find one each year in Round Top. Pictured here is a portion of the fragment. He’s securely ridding resting on a blanket mid-way and across the floor of the van so I can be watchful of his safe arrival home.

Last day to shop Round Top before we hit the road back home to try to get the warehouse/showroom organized for next weekend’s big fall kick off party. Four separate loads had already arrived before we left for Texas, including these beautiful French dining chairs! Now the task of blending it all together begins. We have a great load already from this past week’s shopping, so wish us luck today at Blue Hills💙 BTW it’s freezing here! 🥶

The pickin has been amazing today! A favorite monumental (it’s huge) at least 200 year old Marseilles jar! These jars are stunning and the prices vary greatly from venue to venue. I’ve wanted to bring one back for you the minute I laid eyes on them yesterday, but the costs have been prohibitive until we found this one today. The 2nd slide is looking down inside. These jars are true art of the potters hand.

So many more amazing finds today! I’ll take more pics tomorrow but stories may be the quickest way.

BTW it’s soooooooooo hot!!! 🥵

In case you haven’t noticed … I am passionate about antique garden pieces. In my opinion they are as much for the inside as the out. At the moment I’m drooling over these 2 pairs of urns that Jacob Jacob Brown has curated for the City Farmhouse Popup Fair.

I’m so happy for Jacob. As an antiques vendor in a couple of area malls, Jacob was looking to expand his business to include shows. This isn’t always easy at first. You truly have to train your eye to look for exceptional show worthy pieces. I knew Jacob had the eye to do this. It was just a matter of spending hours, days, and months learning, then finding those curated pieces. I invited him to exhibit at the Popup Fair in June. And, he blew you guys away with his amazing booth which featured quite a few stunning garden antiques. I’m happy to report he’s back again this November. And, I think he’s off to a great start! Don’t you?

Find Jacob along with 40 antique and vintage vendors along with a vintage jewelry vendor, a maker who creates jewelry with vintage finds, the sweetest young lady who sews vintage quilts into amazing jackets, a botanical preservationist, and a local artist.

Adding in gorgeous antique French and Italian chandeliers today at the City Farmhouse Warehouse/Showroom. I love this smaller French one. And, yes I’m still in love with the sculptural art-like handmade horse. Excited about our collection. We think you will be too! 💛

We leave for Round Top, Texas soon for our final pickin trip before we open the doors to our “Shop the Collection” Fall kickoff shopping celebration! 🍁

Happened upon this beautiful space while scrolling. I love all of the design elements, particularly this coffee table. We just happen to have a very similar one that just arrived from France. Slide through the carousel to see it when it arrived in our warehouse/showroom. Looking forward to styling it, along with 4 additional coffee tables in various styles, for the City Farmhouse Shop the Collection event coming up this month! It’s filling up. We’ve worked very hard to curate this collection in celebration of the Fall Shopping Season! 🍂
