Somewhere between letting go and holding on. 🫶

That’s where I am right now.

Half of me is ready to tear out the spent summer beds and make room for fall and the winter rest that follows.

The other half keeps finding reasons to stretch this out a little longer.

My body knows before my calendar does. Working this closely with nature has done something for me this year I didn’t expect — for my kids too.

All the time we’ve spent outside lately, hands in the dirt, feet on the ground, has been more restorative than anything I could’ve planned.

I’ve stopped forcing the schedule and started working on whatever the day actually calls for.

Today’s harvest is a mix of pastels, brights, and whatever’s native and peaking right now.

Subscribers, your bouquets this week are going to be stunning.

A few things:

• I’m doing something a little different at the stand this week — stay tuned.
• No more regular restocks moving forward. We’re transitioning into pumpkins and dried florals.
• September and October subscriptions are officially sold out.

Which means I’m already dreaming about 2027 — how to do this better, how to build a system that actually works for everyone, delivery included.

To this year’s subscribers: thank you for helping me find my footing in this new chapter.

And to everyone who showed up for our flower farm and our family this season — I see you, and I’m so grateful.

We went camping this weekend and we never left the property. (Actually this whole week we’ll still be at it).

Same trees I walk past every single day doing chores.

Same field I harvest out of.

Same land I’ve spent the past nine years on, and six years working and reconfiguring — except this time I’m not working it.

I’m actually enjoying it with my kids. Spending quality time outdoors to recharge, admire our horses, our home, the space we pour everything into.

I think that’s the whole point, isn’t it? Building a life you don’t need a vacation from.

It took me a long time to get here. And I’m grateful to have a partner to hold everything together with.

There were years I couldn’t sit still on this property without seeing a to-do list in every direction I looked.

This weekend I finally just saw home.

Next week the pace picks back up, with pumpkins, a bridal shower, a wedding, and the last of September subscriptions.

This week I’m not rushing it. How about you? 🫶

Upcoming Fall Items 💐🎃

These Fall-like temps the past few days have been EVERYTHING.

A few things worth knowing as we head into Fall:

• We won’t be stocking the stand the way we normally do — our selection is limited now and my focus is shifting to porch pumpkins.

• Pumpkin floral arrangements will pop up on the stand as they become available, but there will only be a handful this season.

• September subscriptions are closed.

• October subscriptions start the second week of October — and I have room for exactly 2 more if you want in.

Thank you for supporting our family flower farm!

This is what you’ve been waiting all year for. 🌸

The dahlias are finally starting to open, and these are ours — grown right here from seed and tubers, not brought in from anywhere else.

After six years of farming this place, that still feels like something.

I can feel the season winding down, and honestly? I’m not hitting the brakes, I’m just shifting gears.

Otherwise, I’m spending this weekend outside with my kids, soaking up this place. Nine years living here, six years farming it, and it still stops me sometimes. 🥹

Labor Day Weekend looks a lot like camping on our farm, enjoying the transitional weather, dreaming about “what’s next”, and embracing everything it took to get here. 🥹🖤

More fall bed prep today, and transplanting seedlings soon.

I hope you enjoy your day and take some time to recharge as well.

Not all pumpkins are orange. 🎃 🤍

These are the ones we hunt down every Fall — the neutral, heirloom-toned varieties that make a porch look styled instead of seasonal.

Swipe through to meet them, and stick around for the second-to-last slide, where I show you how to actually arrange them.

Odd numbers. Varied heights. One oversized piece off-center. That’s the whole trick.

Reserve The Front Steps or The Full Porch by this Sunday, September 13th, and we’ll add a FREE flat stacker.

Pre-orders close September 20th.

The zinnias are still going, but they know.

The sunflowers have gone deeper and moodier.

And underneath all of it, the dahlias are getting ready to take over completely — they always do this time of year, like they’ve been waiting for their turn the whole season.

This is my favorite stretch.

Summer hasn’t quite let go, fall hasn’t fully arrived, and for about two weeks everything overlaps in a way that makes the most beautiful bouquets of the entire year.

Then it’s dahlia season. Then it’s pumpkins on the porch.

Then it’s a wrap on 2026.

But right now? Right now it’s this.

And I’m not rushing through it.

That’s the thing I’m most proud of, honestly.

Not the bouquets. Not the stand. Not any of the pretty stuff you see here.

It’s that I’ve become someone who figures it out

Every single thing on this farm started as a yes I had no business saying.

The first wedding.

The rebrand.

The stand.

The subscriptions.

The pumpkins.

All of it was “absolutely, I can do that” followed by a very quiet “okay, now how.”

And I’ve never once not figured it out! 💪

There’s a version of me that waited until she was ready, until she had the credentials, the setup, the plan. She’d still be waiting.

So if you’re sitting on something because you don’t know how yet — say yes.

The how shows up. It always does. 🫶
