Just when I thought I was done with these fun ribbon-charm-thingys.. I added a twine tassel with cream wood beads. Ugh! LOVE!

Sometimes, all it takes is a moment to pause, take a breath, and see the beauty in what's already around you. ✨
A few forgotten materials, a little imagination, and a moment stolen just for yourself. That's where the magic of creating begins. 💕
You don't always need something new to make something beautiful.

Have you ever seen a color so beautiful you wished you could keep it? That's what the sunsets in Hawaii felt like to me.

Those incredible pinks and corals, changing by the minute, with that warm glow that makes you stop whatever you're doing and just look. I didn't know I was tucking those colors away somewhere, but years later, there they were again, finding their way onto this dresser.

I think that's one of my favorite things about inspiration. Sometimes you don't even realize you're collecting it. You're just living.

"Frog Bog" takes me right back to old tomboy days. Playing in the mud, collecting salamanders and frogs, catching fireflies, and heading outside simply to see what I might catch with my junior fishing pole.

I loved being outside, getting dirty and letting curiosity lead the way. I think that little girl is still very much a part of me, and every once in a while, when I'm painting, she comes back out to play. That's what inspired this piece.

Sometimes inspiration is simply finding your way back to a feeling you never really lost.

I can't quite tell whether this memory belongs to the little girl in me or the mom in me. Maybe that's why I love it so much.

There's just something magical about bubbles. The laughter, the chasing, wondering where they'll float, and that tiny moment of delight before... pop! I loved them as a child, and then I got to experience that wonder all over again through motherhood.

Maybe we're never supposed to completely outgrow the things that once filled us with joy. I certainly hope I don't.
