Summer refresh complete! This project was a little different than a traditional home staging project-this beautiful home isn’t going on the market. Instead, the Homeowner wanted a fresh, updated look for summer, and I was happy to help bring that vision to life!
By incorporating seasonal floral arrangements, lighter decor, fresh, accessories, and a few styling updates, we were able to brighten the space and create a lighter more welcoming feel throughout the home. Sometimes it doesn’t take a full redesign to make a big impact - small changes can completely transform how a home feels.
I love helping homeowners fall in love with their homes all over again!❤️

When buyers walk into a home, the living room often becomes their first real impression of the home.
If it feels bright, open, and inviting, everything else tends to land better.

A few easy fixes before you list:

🌟 Remove extra pieces so the room feels spacious
🌟 Create a clear seating area that feels comfortable and connected
🌟 Use a rug that properly fits the furniture
🌟 Bring in lamps or warm lighting to soften the space

Lighting as a Statement | Milan Design Week 2026

One of the biggest design moments at Milan Design Week 2026?
Lighting became the focal point. ✨

This year, lighting wasn’t just functional—it was sculptural, artistic, and emotional.

From oversized statement pendants to soft ambient glow and architectural fixtures, the lighting throughout Milan created an entire mood within each space.

One thing I noticed over and over:
The most beautiful rooms weren’t necessarily the most elaborate… they were the ones that felt the best. And lighting played a huge role in that.

Warm layered lighting makes a home feel inviting, elevated, and memorable—which is exactly what helps buyers emotionally connect to a space.

It’s such a good reminder that sometimes a single lighting update can completely transform how a home looks and feels.

So inspired by all the incredible design and details I experienced in Milan this year 🤍
