The smoke has cleared and the sun is shining! If you happen to be in Annapolis today, swing by Annapolis Town Center to support myself along with many other talented Maryland artisans. My location is circled on the second slide.

This 1” round burr from Saburrtooth Tools is my go-to for the initial rough shaping of my spoon scoops. Once the scoop is roughed in, I switch to a kidney shaped card scraper to remove the tooling marks. From there it’s a combo of dry and wet hand sanding up to 600 grit; all of my utensils get the same finishing process. With regular hand washing and oiling, they’ll remain smooth for a lifetime!

Wood shavings on the face - a woodturner's reality! A unique view of turning the outside diameter on one of my stackable bowls. Still time for last-minute local orders for Christmas. Thanks for the business and support 🤍💚
