Held another Stamp Camp on Sat., 5/23/26. Had to cancel last month as I was recovering from a mild case of COVID.
Margarethe Andersen, Kathy McNeil and Christine Wagner attended. I had 3 cards for them.
Card #1: Used the single Get Well Soon stamp. To get it dark enough to show up on the floral patterned vellum, I had to stamp it on the vellum & on a piece of white cardstock to mount the vellum on. Used the old Stampin' Up! Stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up.
Card #2: Used the DSP in the Silly Old Bear Collection (Online Exclusive) and the Labels stamp set in it. I cut out the scenes in the DSP and they chose whi h one the wanted and they also used some of the characters in the DSP.
Card #3: Used the Relaxing Waterside Bundle and matching DSP. For my sample, I couldn't find my Balmy Blue Ink Pads, so I used my Pool Party ink pad & cardstock. Didn't care for it, so I kept hunting and found it and cut Balmy Blue cardstock for them. Unfortunately, it appears my ink pad was contaminated with the wrong reinker, so it was too dark and green-tinged (think Pool Party refill was used on it -Sigh!) We made due though. Everyone seemed happy with their cards.
Kathy's boyfriend, Edgar had come down with her. Such a nice guy. Sat there and listened to us cackling hens. They were going to dinner at Alpine Chef before catching the train back up to Woodbridge, so Harold and I joined them and saw them off after dinner. It was really nice to have a chance to talk to her one-on-one for once.
