Birthday Beauty in Soft Florals

I had so much fun creating this happy birthday card with layers of the gorgeous Brushed With Beauty DSP on Petal Pink cardstock — such a dreamy combination!

The bold Mossy Meadow letters (cut with the Party Alphabet Dies) really pop against the banner layer from the Party Banner Dies, giving it that perfect celebratory feel. I added delicate Petal Pink flowers using the dies from the Country Birdhouse set (retired) and finished everything off with a touch of sparkle using Calypso Coral Pearls from the Pearls of Beauty.

The sweet birthday sentiment comes from the Cake Day stamp set — simple and perfect!

This card feels elegant, cheerful, and ready to make someone’s day extra special.

Tropical Christmas, Year 5!

Hello Fall Card

This is one of my favorite cards ever! I love the Blackberry Bliss and gold mixed together. All the products are retired, but here is the list of supplies I used:

Paper - Blackberry Beauty DSP, Blackberry Bliss CS, Very Vanilla CS and Mossy Meadow CS
Ink - Blackerry Bliss and Mossy Meadow
Stamps - Floral Frames (sentiment)
Dies - Scalloped Contours, Detailed Pumpkin and Rustic Pumpkin
Speckles - Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write and Tsukineko All Purpose Gold Ink

Who’s ready for cooler weather? I know I am. Since that’s not going to happen anytime soon, I pulled out the Autumn Leaves stamp set to create some fall cards.

My card base is Mossy Meadow, combined with patterns from the Country Woods DSP for most of the background. It’s not overly noticeable, but I also used a small amount of retired Magnolia Lane DSP on the edges.

I used the ALCOHOL INK TECHNIQUE to create the leaves and layered them together with twine and discontinued Burlap Ribbon. I added sequins from the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed pack. I use these sequins frequently on my cards.

The sentiment was stamped in Cajun Craze and Early Espresso on White and die cut with the Autumn Leaves Dies.

ALCOHOL INK TECHNIQUE: Adhere Vellum paper on white cardstock with spray adhesive. Use Cajun Craze and Copper Clay Dark Stampin’ Blends and color on the Vellum. Use 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and splatter on the Vellum. This will cause the colors to run. Once dry, repeat the process until you are happy with the results then die cut your leaves.

For this trio of Easter cards I combined old and new products. I thought the Daffodil Afternoon DSP was strong enough to stand on its own, so I didn’t do much except add a sentiment and some embellishments. R = Retired C = Current

Today I’m sharing a sweet Easter card using the Excellent Eggs stamp set and coordinating dies. The DSP print might just be one of my favorite DSPs from the Delightfully Eclectic collection. This is a simple card that could easily be reproduced. Let me know if you make it.

This is the first of several Easter cards I’ve created to show you. This card showcases the beautiful Easter Lilies dies and the sentiment is from the coordinating Easter Lilies stamp set. I created a color wash on Fluid 100 watercolor paper with water painters using Old Olive, Sweet Sorbet and Daffodil Delight ink pads. To create texture and depth I used the Distressed Tile 3-D folder. It makes a beautiful background: I love this embossing folder and have used it a lot on my projects recently. I hope it carries over to the next catalog.
